About 40 years ago the Veerhoeve was still a farm with room for camping. The ‘Spoorhuis‘ was the final destination of a small railway line coming from Goes. From there on it was a 100 metres' walk to the ‘Veerhuis‘,now a renowned restaurant, where one could take the ferry across to Kortgene. These two old houses full of atmosphere are happy to offer your group the opportunity to spend a cosy weekend.
The local area boasts lots of opportunities to be active as a group. Zeilschool De Viking (www.zeilenisfun.nl) is within walking distance. This sailing school provides sailing boat hire as well as sailing lessons. Situated at ca. 7 km, you will find Kanoa (www.kanoa.nl) where you can hire canoes, rowing boats and pedal boats. But they can also organise a tailor-made day programme for you with a variety of sports activities.
